Deathwing's International 2v2 Tournament (July,2012)

Hello Molten Community,

Once again, the time has come for our very own International 2v2 Tournament hosted on Deathwing!
The tournament will be held on Sunday (July 22nd, 2012) at 21:00 Server Time.
Please follow Molten's stream located at: http://www.twitch.tv/moltenwow for any possible updates. This is where the tournament will be streamed live.

INTRODUCTION

The International Tournaments are becoming a big part of the PvP aspect of Deathwing. We would like to give special thanks to all that have supported this project. Each and every one of you helped make this possible. We hope to have your support in the future.

APPLICATIONS

There will be eight (8) teams selected. You will have one team captain that will represent your team at any prior conferences before the tournament is started. Your team captain will follow the stated format via Private Message to Moardpskgo:

1. Team Name (Nothing profane or insulting towards any group of people, etc. No more than 19 characters.)
2. Team Members' Names (Include class and spec of each member.)
3. Team's Faction

Applications will be closed four (4) days before the event; July 18th. If your team is selected, it will be posted on this thread and your team captain will be notified via private message.

Do not, under any circumstances, attempt to contact the event leaders at any time concerning your application's status. It will be invalidated immediately. It is your captain's sole responsibility to ensure the arrival of your entire team. Do not make an application if you are unsure if your team is able to attend. Any team that is accepted and doesn't attend without notifying an event leader 48 hours prior to the event will be banned from the next International Tournament.

TOURNAMENT RULES

1. Disconnects during a match or while in queue will end up in a loss. The player will then have three (3) minutes to log back in. If said player does not return within the time limit, that team will then be disqualified. The same rules will apply if the server disconnects.
2. Everything that is allowed in a regular arena match is useable, i.e. Bloodlust and Heroism are useable throughout the tournament.
3. Matches will have a maximum time limit of ten (10) minutes. If no one is killed after ten (10) minutes have passed, the team with the most total damage will receive the win.
4. Every match will be best of three (3). This means whichever team has two (2) wins first, will proceed.
5. The event is being streamed live, if anyone is caught cheating or abusing in any way, it will result in immediate disqualification. It will be recorded and shown to one of the staff for them to do with at their discretion. Cheating will not be tolerated and can result in permanent expulsion from any tournaments being held in the future.
6. All team compositions are allowed except double healer comps.
7. Legendary weapons have been removed from the tournament. Anyone who is caught using a legendary weapon will be immediately disqualified. This includes Shadowmourne and Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings.

PRIZES

Prizes will be announced at a later time. Be sure to stay tuned for a possible update or announcement of what the prizes will include.

Thank you for all the patience. The teams have finally been chosen! We would like to apologize sincerely to all of the applicants who weren't chosen to participate in this upcoming tournament. We were blown away by the massive amount of applications we received. We will be sure to modify the next one to accommodate more teams.

To all the accepted teams. Please be online one hour before the tournament starts. It's crucial to be on time. If you happen to be late, you will be replaced.

If you applied and did not get accepted, again, we do apologize. There's nothing wrong with your application or your team, just not enough room to compensate for the amount of applications we received. Please, be sure to apply for the next one coming soon. We will perform the necessary modifications to have more teams!

i mean im fine with 8 teams but most likely, as ussual, if you select 8 teams, 3 of them will be hpala/warr, 3 will be spriest/maeg and 2 hpala/dk, lack of comps or otherway some really great players wont be able to participate
and not even gonna mention that probably 1 or 2 teams wont even show up even if they promise so we'll see like 10 matches in whole tourney...from which half gonna be boring hpala/warr or dk vs hpala/warr or dk 10 mins fights...maybe im wrong but i doubt so...
